Terms of Use

Last updated: 5 October 2026

Using this site

By using CleanInvoice you agree to these terms. The invoice and receipt generators are free to use, with no account and no limit on how many invoices you create. You may use the output commercially — that is the point of them.

What we provide

The generators are supplied as they are, without warranty of any kind. They run entirely in your browser. We do not store your invoices, we cannot retrieve them for you, and we do not guarantee that the site will always be available or free of defects. Save or print the PDF before you leave the page — that copy is your record.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for what you put on an invoice and for complying with the rules that apply to your business. That includes tax rates and whether tax applies at all, licensing and permit requirements, the legal wording of payment terms, and any record-keeping or invoicing obligations in your state or country. The tax field on each generator is a plain percentage you control; it does not calculate anything for you.

Not professional advice

Pricing ranges, tax notes and software details published on this site are general market observations gathered from public sources. They are not tax, legal, accounting or financial advice, and they may be out of date. Confirm anything you rely on with your own accountant, revenue department or adviser.

Third-party links and affiliate disclosure

Some pages link to third-party software, and some of those links are affiliate links: if you sign up through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes what we recommend — we also list tools we earn nothing on when they are the better fit. We do not control those third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, pricing, terms or practices. Their terms and privacy policies apply once you leave this site.

Product names and logos mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners. Their use here is for identification only and does not imply any endorsement or partnership.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CleanInvoice is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or of an invoice produced with it — including lost data, unpaid invoices, billing disputes with your clients, or penalties connected to tax or licensing.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, and the courts of Changzhou, Jiangsu have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove any right you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.

Changes

These terms may change as the site changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Questions about any of this? Get in touch.
