About CleanInvoice
Free invoice generators built around how specific trades actually bill — not one generic form you have to reshape yourself every time the job changes.
What this is
CleanInvoice is a set of free invoice and receipt generators, one per trade. Each one comes preloaded with the line items that trade really uses — hourly and square-foot pricing for cleaners, service calls and parts for plumbers, per-guest and staffing rows for caterers — so you are not rebuilding the same form from scratch on every job. Pick your trade, fill it in, print it or save it as a PDF.
How it runs
Every generator is a single page of plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript. There is no account, no signup, and no server behind the form. The details you type are held in your browser and nowhere else: they are never transmitted to us, never stored, and never shared. When you close the tab, they are gone. That also means we cannot recover an invoice for you later — save the PDF before you leave the page.
Why it is free
Template pages carry affiliate links to the paid job-management and invoicing software that some readers graduate to once a spreadsheet and a printable form stop being enough. If you sign up through one of those links, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra. It does not change what we recommend, and we will tell you when the free option is the better fit — the template you are using is the clearest example.
Where this came from
CleanInvoice started with the bookkeeping for a cleaning company run by a family member. The invoices were the recurring headache: every free template we tried was built for a single one-off job with one total, and none of them fit how cleaning work is actually billed — a regular client at a flat rate, extra visits, the occasional deep clean. So we built the invoice we needed, and then did the same for the other trades where the same gap kept showing up.
That is still who runs this site. JustTry built it and maintains it — one person, not a company with a support desk. Fifteen trades' worth of pricing and software notes is a lot to keep current, so if something here is out of date, tell us and it gets fixed.
